Since establishment, the Co-operative has grown into Canada's largest farm energy co-operative.

We have achieved tremendous growth over the past 20 years; we originally offered natural gas through one program at one price. Members now enjoy many program options in natural gas, electricity and foreign exchange, with new program ideas being tabled regularly.

The Membership now represents half of all greenhouse natural gas consumption in the province. That adds up to approximately one third of all the heat consumed by all Ontario farm operations. When combined with its FireFly Energy division, the Co-operative additionally supplies approximately one third of all the electricity consumed by Ontario farm operations.

Our role is to "commercialize energy policy for the benefit of Ontario agriculture" while working closely with all stakeholders. Because of our distinct role, we enjoy good relations with all agricultural organizations and associations.
